Living…Laughing…Loving and DIVING…Happy Beginnings

Hola Yall…It has been along time since I blogged and there have been a lot of cool changes this last year. “Paso adelante como una elefante” One of our favorite quotes, which translates to” keep moving forward like an elefant. “First of all we closed Diving Safaris and then began anew with Sirenas Diving Costa Rica. Our new business is even better than the last. We no longer have a physical office…we have a virtual office!  So…What does this mean?  It means that…we receive the reservations, reserve the diving dates and  then take our customers diving. I am liking this a lot!  We work the business together, Dani and I, he is the captain and I am the instructor. Most of the time we are the crew…however there are times that we have to contract someone to fill in for the day.  We have several reliable, professional friends that love filling in for us. Very NICE!

We moved our boat, Mi Reina Grace, to Playa del Coco. If you don’t have a car, we provide free transportation to and from Playa del Coco, Ocotal, Playa Hermosa and Occidental Grand Papagayo on the days of your dives. We can also arrange transportation at a discounted rate from the Hilton hotels, Exclusive Resorts, Andaz, Four Seasons Papagayo, Mangroove, RIU hotels, JW Marriot, Occidental Allegro, Playas Tamarindo and Flamingo. But of course is is always very nice and convenient to have your own car.   We are affiliated with PADI as a PADI Dive Boat.  We take out small groups of people diving, teach PADI courses from discover scuba through rescue certifications, and also offer snorkeling and bay trips plus fishing and surf trips.

For the local dive trips we meet at the beach in Coco in front of the police station at 8am. Depending on the reservation and weather conditions we sometimes pick up our guest from other local beaches.  The dive trips consist of two to three tanks, there is fresh pineapple, cookies and water for refreshment between the dives. (Three tank trips include lunch) You are welcome to bring personal snacks and drinks on board.  If you have your own dive equipment we rinse and store it for you if you are diving multiple days. If you do not have your own dive equipment we have a good selection of rental equipment available…just let us know your sizes and it will be waiting for you on the dive boat.
